Well, hey there! Let me tell ya ’bout this… this… uh… “my new plaid pants movie,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t never seen no plaid pants movie, but I reckon it’s somethin’ the young folks are into these days.
So, I heard tell there’s this movie called “My New Pants” or somethin’ like that. Came out in 2020, they say. Don’t know nothin’ ’bout the actors or actresses, but they got folks in it, that’s for sure. Credits and all that jazz. Important folks, I guess. They gotta pay the bills too, just like the rest of us.
- They got this fella, Benjamin Kirk Nielsen, who does the picture-takin’. Folks call it “cinematography,” real fancy-like. He makes it all look nice and purdy, with creams and grays and all. Sounds like a good paint job for a house, if ya ask me.
- Then there’s this fella who went to some college in Rochester, learned about movies. Moved to New York City, big place, lots of noise. He writes stuff, scary stuff they say, “queer-horror” or somethin’. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds like it might give ya the heebie-jeebies.
Now, this movie, it’s got some gals in it. Gina, Chloe, and Connie. Sounds like a bunch of gals from down at the diner. They’re spies or somethin’. You know, sneakin’ around, doin’ secret stuff. They got a new trailer out, they say. Like a wagon trailer? I dunno. Maybe it’s somethin’ different for these movie folks. This movie is gonna be on some kinda “streaming service” in February. Sounds like watchin’ TV to me, but with extra steps.
There’s this fella who writes about movies online. His website or blog or whatever they call it is “my new plaid pants”. He talks about movies and stuff. Seems like he likes this “My New Pants” movie, or whatever it’s called. He was talkin’ about findin’ some pictures from the movie shoot. Like findin’ a good patch of berries, I guess.
You can watch this movie on Amazon, Apple TV, all them fancy places. You gotta pay for it, though. Nothin’ in life is free, that’s for sure. ‘Cept maybe gossip, and there’s plenty of that goin’ around.
This “my new plaid pants” fella, he writes about other stuff too. He talks about a movie with a girl named Lisa Cohen, who got into some trouble with a bus accident. Sounds like a sad story. They got Mark Ruffalo and Allison Janney in it too. Big stars, I hear. But I don’t know ’em from Adam. They’re just folks to me.
So, this “my new plaid pants movie” thing… it’s a whole bunch of stuff, seems like. Movies, spies, scary stories, pictures, and all that jazz. I still don’t know what it’s all about, but I reckon it’s entertainment for some folks. Me? I’d rather sit on the porch and watch the chickens.
They say you can find showtimes, read what other folks think, and watch trailers. Sounds like a lot of fuss over a movie, but hey, to each their own. Me, I’ll stick to my stories on the radio. At least I can understand what they’re sayin’ most of the time.

I heard folks are lookin’ for information ’bout this movie, who’s in it, where to watch it, what it’s about. It’s like lookin’ for a lost calf in a big pasture. But if you look hard enough, you’ll find it. Or maybe you won’t. Sometimes things just stay lost. That’s life, I guess.
