Okay, so I was digging around the internet today, trying to figure out if Netflix had made any donations to Kamala Harris. It’s something I was curious about, and I figured, why not document my little adventure?

The Starting Point

I started with a simple Google search. You know, the usual “did netflix donate to kamala harris” kind of thing. I figured that would be the quickest way to get some basic info.

Sifting Through the Results

The initial search results were a mixed bag. Lots of news articles, some political commentary sites, and a few things that looked like they might be relevant, but it was hard to tell at first glance.

I started clicking through some of the more promising-looking links. Mostly news articles from what I thought were reputable sources. I avoided anything that looked too biased or opinionated.

Finding…Not Much, Actually

  • I spent a good amount of time reading through articles, trying to find any concrete mention of Netflix, as a company, donating to Kamala Harris.
  • I looked for mentions of specific amounts, official statements, anything like that.
  • But honestly, I came up empty. I found a lot of stuff about individual donors, maybe some executives, but nothing that definitively said, “Netflix donated X amount to Kamala Harris.”

Trying Different Approaches

I figured maybe my search terms were too narrow. So I tried a few variations. “Netflix political donations,” “Netflix campaign contributions,” things like that. I even tried looking specifically for donations during certain election cycles.

Still, no luck. It felt like I was going in circles, finding the same general information but nothing specific about Netflix and Kamala Harris.

The Conclusion (For Now)

After a couple of hours of searching and reading, I had to admit defeat. I couldn’t find any solid evidence that Netflix, as a company, has donated to Kamala Harris.

It is possible the data will become public at a later date.

It’s possible the information is out there somewhere, buried deep in some campaign finance report, but I just couldn’t find it with the tools and time I had. It doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, just that I couldn’t prove it happened.

So, that’s my little investigation for the day. Not the most exciting result, but hey, that’s how research goes sometimes. You win some, you lose some. Maybe someone else will have better luck!
