Yesterday, I started digging into some new French movies from 2023. I found some info online, and it got me pretty excited. There’s this one about a gay couple, and things get messy when one of them starts an affair with a woman. Sounds juicy, right? The director is Ira Sachs, and it stars Franz Rogowski and Ben Whishaw. I jotted that down to check out later.

Then I stumbled upon a list of the best movies of the year. I realized I hadn’t seen many of them. 2023 was a big year for movies, with that whole “Barbenheimer” thing and all, but I missed out on a bunch. I did manage to watch “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Oppenheimer.” They were both great, but super long! I spent the whole afternoon watching them.
After that, I needed a break from the heavy stuff. So, I looked around for something lighter but still from 2023. No luck there. I ended up watching an older movie. It wasn’t a bad way to end the day, but I’m still on the hunt for more 2023 French films. I might have to do some more serious searching later.
