Well, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout this new movie theater Jonesboro AR. Sounds like a right fancy place, that Malco place. They got a couple of ’em, I reckon. One’s called Malco Studio at Greensborough Village. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? And they got another one, Malco Jonesboro Towne Cinema. Lordy, these names are gettin’ longer and longer.
Now, this here Greensborough one, I hear it’s somethin’ else. They play all them new-fangled movies. You know, the ones with all the loud booms and the flashy lights. They playin’ somethin’ called “The Creator” right now. What’s that about? Sounds like a Bible story to me, but I bet it ain’t.
This other one, the Towne Cinema, it’s on East Parker Road. Now, I ain’t too good with directions, but I reckon that’s somewhere in Jonesboro. If you wanna find it, that is. They got a phone number too. It’s 870-802-3456. You can call ’em up and ask ’em what’s playin’. They got like, 10 or 11 movies playin’ today! Can you believe that? So many choices! Back in my day, we was lucky to have one picture show in town.
The Greensborough place, that one’s on Canera Drive. 1008 Canera Drive, to be exact. And their number is 870-558-5767. They got a map, too, if you’re the type that needs a map to get around. I just ask somebody if I get lost. Usually works out fine.
I hear tell they got some deal where you buy a ticket and you can save money on some Sonic movie thing. Sonic? Is that one of them hedgehogs? I don’t know nothin’ about that. But hey, if you like savin’ money, might be worth lookin’ into. They got some holiday things too, like them Christmas movies. Always nice around this time of year.
Some folks say them middle seats are the best ones. Right smack-dab in the middle, about two-thirds back. They say you get the best sound and you can see the whole screen real good. Me? I just like to sit where I can put my feet up. Don’t much care where it is, long as I can see the picture.

You know, they say the middle row’s the best, and the four rows behind it. Some fella on Groupon said that. Groupon? What in tarnation is a Groupon? Sounds like some kinda soup. Anyways, if you want the best seat, that’s what they say. And apparently, you gotta pay more for them good seats. Especially for them big, popular movies. Figures, don’t it? Everything costs more these days. Especially for them new movie theater Jonesboro AR.
I heard Tuesdays you can get cheaper tickets, all year long. So if you’re lookin’ to save some money, try goin’ on a Tuesday. Lord knows we all could use some savings these days.
I reckon this new movie theater Jonesboro AR is gonna be popular, especially with that Malco name. They known for bein’ fancy. And Jonesboro, well, it’s growin’ bigger every day. More people means more folks wantin’ to see them picture shows.
Some say the back row is the most comfortable. But these expert folks, they say the middle is where it’s at. Guess it depends on what you like. Me, I just don’t want to be too close to the screen. Makes my eyes hurt. And I don’t want to be too far back neither, ’cause then I can’t hear nothin’.
