Well, howdy there! So, you wanna know about them gay movie theaters in New York City, huh? Alright, alright, lemme tell ya what I know, though I ain’t never been to one myself. City folks got all sorts of things, bless their hearts.

Guess that means they ain’t got all them explosions and superheroes like the young’uns like these days. Probably more talkin’ and thinkin’ movies. Not my kinda thing, but some folks love it.
Now, New York City, that’s a big place, right? So, you got all sorts of movie theaters. Big ones, small ones, fancy ones, plain ones. Heard you can watch just about anythin’ you want, whether it’s rainin’ cats and dogs or the sun’s beatin’ down. They got them blockbusters, the ones with all the noise and fuss. Watching the latest flick, that’s what the city folks call it. Flick, ha! Sounds like a bug or somethin’. But anyways, they got all sorts of places to do it. Some theaters is probably better than others for watchin’ gay movies, but I ain’t knowin’ the specifics, ya know?
Some folks are always lookin’ for the top 10, or the top 15. Always gotta be the best, I guess. But me, I figure a movie theater is a movie theater. You go in, you sit down, you watch a picture. Ain’t no need to make it complicated.
But if you’re lookin’ for a place to watch a movie with, uh, you know… other folks who like the same kinda things, I guess you gotta do some lookin’ around. Maybe ask some of them city slickers. They’ll know. They know everything, or so they think.

And don’t forget, it ain’t just about the movie theaters. It’s about the whole neighborhood. You go to the West Village, it’s got a certain feel to it. Times Square is different, all bright and loud. So, you gotta think about what kinda vibe you want, as the youngsters say. Vibe, huh? Back in my day, we just called it a feelin’.
