Alright, listen up, y’all! I heard there’s gonna be a whole bunch of new movies comin’ out in October, yeah, this October 2024. They call it “new movies coming out in October,” fancy, huh? But don’t you worry, I’ll tell ya all about it in plain English, none of that highfalutin talk.
First off, they got this one called “Exhibiting Forgiveness.” Sounds like a whole lot of drama to me. It’s about some artist fella, black fella, mind you, doin’ well for himself, then bam! His daddy shows up outta nowhere. Haven’t seen my own daddy in ages, bless his soul. Probably off fishin’ somewhere. Anyways, this movie, it’s probably gonna be about family troubles, you know, the kind we all got, just dressed up fancy for the big screen.
Then there’s a whole bunch of ’em comin’ to somethin’ called “Regal.” Sounds like a fancy place, not like our old town theater, but that’s where they’re showin’ these new flicks in October and November. They got all sorts, like this “Venom: The Last Dance.” Sounds like a scary one, with monsters and whatnot. My grandson, little Timmy, he loves that kinda stuff. Me? I prefer a good love story, somethin’ with a happy endin’. But hey, to each their own, right?
And speaking of scary, they got “Smile 2” and “Terrifier 3.” Don’t even wanna think about what them fellas are about. Just the names give me the shivers. And then there’s “Goodrich,” “White Bird,” “Joker: Folie Deux,” and “Saturday Night.” So many movies, I tell ya! It’s like they just keep makin’ ’em, one after another. Back in my day, we had one movie a month, if we were lucky. Now they got ’em comin’ outta the woodwork!
Now, there’s these folks, “Fandango” they call themselves. They keepin’ track of all these movies, tellin’ ya when they comin’ out, even lettin’ ya buy tickets ahead of time. Sounds mighty convenient, I gotta say. But me? I like to just show up, buy my ticket, and get my popcorn. None of this fancy online stuff for me. But for you youngsters, maybe you wanna check out what they got. They got all the new movies in 2024, not just October’s.
And then there’s this “Rotten Tomatoes” thing. Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in the garden, not talkin’ about movies! But apparently, they tell ya if a movie’s good or bad. They give it a score, like, a “tomatometer” they call it. Don’t ask me how it works, sounds like a whole lotta hooey to me. But folks seem to trust it, so maybe there’s somethin’ to it.

One more movie I heard about is called “Badland Hunters.” It’s Korean, they say. And it’s about the end of the world, or somethin’ like that. Post-apocalyptic, they call it. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. I prefer a good old Western, with cowboys and horses. But hey, maybe this one’s good too. Who knows?
