Alright, so last night I was like, “You know what? I’m gonna figure out this whole ‘gay Netflix and chill’ thing.” I’d heard about it, obviously, but never really done it, you know?

First step, find a guy. I hopped on, uh, a dating app – don’t judge, it’s the 21st century. Scrolled through a bunch of profiles, you know the drill. Found a cute guy who seemed pretty chill, and we started chatting. We are making small talk.

After a bit of back-and-forth, I casually dropped the “Netflix and chill?” line. Smooth, I know. He was down! Score one for me.

Getting Ready

Next, the prep work. Gotta make the place look presentable, right? I did a quick tidy-up – threw some clothes in the hamper, wiped down the coffee table, the essentials.

Then, the most important part: picking the show. We didn’t want anything too engaging, because, well, priorities. But we also didn’t want something totally boring. I chose a romantic comedy, you know, set the right vibe.

  • Make the room tidy.
  • Snacks ready.
  • Romantic comedy ready.

The Actual “Chill” Part

He came over, we made some awkward small talk, then I put on the movie. We sat on the couch, a respectable distance apart at first. You know how it goes.

Slowly, over the course of the first half-hour, we inched closer. A hand on the knee here, an arm around the shoulder there. The movie became background noise, and, well, the “chill” part of “Netflix and chill” took over. I’m not gonna go into all the details, but let’s just say the movie never got finished.

So, yeah, that was my first “gay Netflix and chill” experience. Successful? I’d say so. Would I do it again? Definitely. 10/10, would recommend.
