So, I wanted to find some good shows to watch, you know, something a bit more geared towards us older folks. I decided to dive into Netflix and see what’s what. Here’s how it went.
Figuring Out What to Watch
First off, I’m not a big fan of those complicated sci-fi shows or things with too much, uh, what do you call it? Yeah, violence. I like stuff that’s a bit more chill, you know? Something with a good story, maybe some humor, and definitely easy on the eyes and ears.
I started by just browsing the Netflix categories. They’ve got all sorts: comedies, dramas, documentaries, you name it. I figured I’d start with something light, so I looked into the comedies first.
Diving into the Comedy Section
They’ve got a bunch of stand-up specials, which are usually a good laugh. But I was looking for a show, something I could watch episode after episode. I saw a few that looked promising, like that one with the, uh, the Golden Girls, that’s a classic. Then there was something called “Queen Bees”, huh, interesting.
- Clicked on “Queen Bees”: It’s about this woman who has to move into a retirement community. Sounds like it could be funny and maybe a bit relatable, right?
- Watched the Trailer: Okay, this looks pretty good. It’s got some drama, some laughs, and a good cast.
- Added to My List: Alright, “Queen Bees” is definitely going on my list. I’ll give it a shot later.
Exploring Other Options
After that, I poked around the drama section. Sometimes it’s nice to watch something a bit more serious, something that makes you think. I saw a couple that caught my eye, but I need to be in the right mood for those. Maybe I’ll check them out another time.
I also glanced at the documentaries. They’ve got some interesting ones about history and nature. I do enjoy a good documentary every now and then. Might have to add a few of those to my list as well.
Wrapping Up My Search
All in all, it was a pretty successful search. I found at least one show that I’m excited to watch, and I’ve got a few others in mind for later. Netflix has a lot to offer, and it’s not too hard to find something that suits your taste. You just gotta know where to look, and maybe, not be afraid to try something new, I guess.
