Well, let me tell you somethin’ ’bout this here show I seen on that Netflix thing. It’s about that band, Queen, you know, the one with that fella who could sing real high? Yeah, well he ain’t in it no more, bless his heart. This one’s got a new boy singin’ for ’em, name’s Adam Lambert.
This documentary, that’s what they call it, it’s all about how this Adam Lambert got to singin’ with them Queen fellas. He was on one of them TV shows, you know, where they all sing and folks vote on ’em. American Idol, that’s it. I watched some of that with my granddaughter one time. Lots of folks singin’.
So this Adam Lambert, he was on that American Idol, and them Queen boys, Brian and Roger, they was on there too. That’s how they met. And they got to playin’ music together, right there on the TV. Sounds crazy, don’t it? This fella Adam Lambert has been with Queen for more than ten years. Can you imagine that? More than ten years he is the Queen singer!
This documentary thing, it shows all that. How they met, how they started playin’ together, goin’ all over the place playin’ them Queen songs. I reckon it’s a big deal for that Adam Lambert boy. He’s real different from that other singer, the one who passed on. But he sure can sing, I’ll give him that. They show him singin’ all them Queen songs, and folks just love it. A real show must go on moment, I tell you.
They got parts in it where they talk, you know, like an interview. Them Queen boys, Brian and Roger, they talk a lot ’bout how much they like singin’ with this Adam Lambert. Say he’s got a good voice, real powerful. And he’s respectful, you know, of the old songs. Ain’t tryin’ to be that other fella, just bein’ himself. The Queen + Adam Lambert Story is interesting.

My old ears probably couldn’t take it, but the young folks, they love it. They got all these folks in the documentary sayin’ how good Adam Lambert is with Queen. Sayin’ it’s like a new beginnin’ for the band. I guess that’s true. Gotta keep on goin’, even when things change, right?
That Adam Lambert, he seems like a nice boy. Got a lot of energy, jumpin’ around on that stage. And he dresses real fancy, too. Lots of sparkles and shiny things. Not like what we wear ’round here, that’s for sure. But it suits him, I reckon. It’s part of the show, you know. Gotta put on a good show for the folks. This show must go on, right?
They been together a long time now, Queen and Adam Lambert. Longer than I thought they would, to be honest. But they seem to be doin’ real good. Folks like ’em. They keep playin’ them old Queen songs, and people keep comin’ to see ’em. So I reckon they’ll keep on doin’ it as long as they can. It seems that Adam Lambert is a good Queen singer.
This documentary, it’s a good one. If you like Queen, you’ll probably like it. Even if you don’t know much about that Adam Lambert, you’ll learn somethin’. It’s got lots of music in it, lots of singin’. And it’s interestin’ to see how things change, you know? How this band, Queen, kept goin’ even after they lost their singer. That is the story of The Queen + Adam Lambert.
I watched it on Netflix, so you gotta have that to see it. It is a movie, you can read a movie review online. But it ain’t hard to find, I reckon. My granddaughter helped me find it. If you get a chance to see The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story, go ahead. It’s a good way to spend a couple of hours. Maybe you will find that the show must go on. You might even learn somethin’ ’bout that band, Queen, and that Adam Lambert fella. He’s alright, that one. He sure can sing them Queen songs.
