Read the Prometheus Movie Script: Uncover the Secrets Within

Alright, let’s talk about this Prometheus movie thing, you know, the one with all them aliens and spaceships. I heard folks callin’ it a script, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folk use.

So, this fella, Jon Spaihts, he started writin’ this story. It was supposed to be all about them Alien creatures we all know and fear, ya know, the ones with the teeth and the acid blood. He called it Alien: Engineers. Sounds kinda like them fellas that fix the tractors, but I reckon it ain’t about that. They was talkin’ ’bout some underwater city, way down in the sea, where some scientists found a map to the stars. Imagine that, a whole city underwater! Musta been a powerful flood or somethin’.

Then this other fella, Damon Lindelof, he come along and changed things up. He took the story in a different direction, didn’t want it to be too much like them old Alien movies, I guess. He called his version Paradise. Kinda funny, ain’t it? Paradise with all them scary aliens. Reminds me of that time the preacher said even the devil hides in pretty places.

This Prometheus story, it’s all about humans and their makers, the folks that created us. They call ’em Engineers in this story, big, strong fellas. But these Engineers, they weren’t too happy with us humans, seems like we done somethin’ to piss ’em off. Kinda like when the kids get into the cookie jar after you told ’em not to. Only with way more consequences, I reckon.

There’s this robot fella named David in the story too. He’s kinda strange, this one. He likes this old movie called Lawrence of Arabia. I ain’t never seen it, but I heard it’s about some fella in the desert. David, he thinks he’s like that Lawrence fella, always chasin’ after somethin’. He’s a bit creepy, if you ask me. Reminds me of that salesman who came through town last summer, always smiling but somethin’ wasn’t right.

And then there’s this black goo stuff, all over the place. I ain’t sure what it is, but it seems to cause a whole heap of trouble. Turns people into monsters, makes things go all crazy. Reminds me of that time the septic tank backed up, except way worse. This goo, it’s like the devil’s own brew, I tell ya.

  • So, what’s the deal with these Engineers?
  • Why are they so mad at us humans?
  • And what’s the secret behind that black goo?

These are the questions this Prometheus story tries to answer. It’s a scary story, but it makes you think too. About where we come from, and what we’re supposed to do with our lives.

They even made another movie after this one, called Alien: Covenant. It’s a sequel, they say. Happens years later, with a new bunch of folks on a spaceship. Seems like they just can’t get enough of them aliens and spaceships, can they? I tell ya, I’d rather stay right here on solid ground, where things are a little more predictable. Even if that means dealin’ with the chickens gettin’ loose every now and then.

So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. It’s a complicated story, with lots of twists and turns. But it’s a good one, if you like that kinda thing. Just don’t watch it before bed, or you might have nightmares about them aliens comin’ to get ya. And for goodness sake, stay away from any black goo you might find lyin’ around!
