This new Hunger Games movie, I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. I saw it down at the picture show the other day. It ain’t like those other ones, the ones with that Katniss girl. This one’s about that mean old President Snow, when he was a young’un. They call him Coriolanus in this one, what a fancy name! Sounds like a flower.
This Coriolanus, he’s a snake, that’s what they say. He’s all tricky and mean, even back then. And there’s this other girl, Lucy Gray. She sings real pretty, but she’s in the Hunger Games too. It’s a mess, I tell ya. These Hunger Games reviews are all over the place, though, some love this movie.

They got this thing, see, where folks is eatin’ each other. Cannibals, they call ’em. It’s awful, just awful. They do what they gotta do, I reckon. Times is tough in that there movie world.

This Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is a good movie according to some. It is well worth it. Well, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch, and you ain’t scared of a little darkness, maybe give this one a try. Just don’t expect no happy ending. Ain’t much happiness in that Panem place, not even back then.
