Well, howdy there! Let’s talk about them… whatchamacallit… horror movie pillows. Yeah, them spooky cushions you put on your couch or bed.

First off, why in the tarnation would anyone want a pillow with a scary face on it? I tell you what, it gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinkin’ about it. But, I guess some folks like that kinda thing. To each their own, I always say.

Now, I seen some of these pillows online. They got all sorts of monsters and creepy crawlies on ’em. Frankenstein, ghosts, and even that fella with the knives for fingers… what’s his name? Freddy? Yeah, him. Scary as all get-out, if you ask me.

  • Some got words on ’em too. Like, “You Like Scary Movies Too?” Well, do ya? I sure don’t! Give me a good ol’ fashioned quilt any day.
  • And then there’s them sets. Two pillows! Why on earth would you need two scary pillows? One’s bad enough, I reckon.

They come in different colors too. Mostly dark colors, like black and red. Makes sense, I guess. Can’t have a bright yellow pillow with a monster on it, can ya? Wouldn’t be right.

And the material… they say it’s “linen” or some such fancy word. Sounds like that itchy stuff my grandma used to make curtains out of. I hope these pillows ain’t itchy, though. Nobody wants an itchy pillow, scary or not.

Some folks are even makin’ these pillows for Valentine’s Day. Can you believe it? “Goth Valentine’s Day Decor,” they call it. Bride of Frankenstein pillows. Well, I guess love comes in all shapes and sizes, even monstrous ones.

Then there’s them “Movie Lover’s Classic Horror Film Pillow Covers”. Now, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? Basically, it’s just a pillowcase with a picture of an old horror movie on it. Like them black and white ones. I seen a few of them back in the day. Scared me silly, they did.

And get this, some folks are sellin’ these pillows in packs of six! “6 Pack Movie Theater Cinema Pillow Cases.” Six! What in the world are you gonna do with six scary pillows? Open your own haunted house, maybe? Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me.

They got square ones, too. “Cute Horror Friends Throw Pillow Cover Classic Horror Movie Home Decorative Square Pillow…” Cute? Horror? Them words don’t belong together, if you ask me. But, I guess they’re tryin’ to make these pillows sound less scary, so folks will buy ’em.

Anyways, if you’re into this kinda thing, you can find these horror movie pillows all over the place. Online, in stores… they’re everywhere. Just search for “scary movie pillows” or “horror movie pillows” and you’ll find a whole heap of ’em. Just don’t blame me if you have nightmares!

Personally, I’d rather stick with a nice, soft, plain pillow. No monsters, no ghosts, no nothin’. Just a comfy place to rest my head. But, like I said, to each their own. If you want a scary pillow, go ahead and get yourself one. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you can’t sleep at night.

And one more thing… don’t go puttin’ these pillows in the guest room. You don’t want to scare your visitors away, do ya? Unless, of course, you don’t want ’em stayin’ too long. Then, I guess, a scary pillow might just do the trick.

So, there you have it. My thoughts on them horror movie pillows. Not my cup of tea, but hey, maybe they’re yours. Just remember to keep ’em away from the young’uns. Don’t want to give them nightmares before they even know what a monster is.

That’s all I gotta say about that. Now, go on and do whatever you please. Just don’t go causin’ too much trouble, ya hear?
