Omg garbage, we all know better now that just because you bring back original characters that it's going to be good. Case in point, the matrix, Star Wars sequels, Halloween, Ghostbusters. The only good example I can think of is cobra Kai and no way home. But those were made by competent writers and producers

I hope it’s going to have a darker ending than Scream 1 and Scream 4.
All the writing we have heard so far is so simplistic and poor. The strength of the origional 2 were its characters we cared about living or dying, not annoying teens that are the personification of the very tropes the Scream franchise used to make fun of.
I really hope it will be good, bit I seriously doubt it.
