So, I was trying to find some specific genre movies on Netflix the other day, and I remembered this thing about Netflix codes. You know, those numbers you can supposedly use to unlock hidden categories? I decided to give it a shot and see if it actually works. Here’s how it went down:

My Little Experiment with Netflix Codes

First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up a browser. I figured I needed a list of these codes, so I did a quick search for “Netflix secret codes” or something like that. I found a bunch of websites listing out tons of codes for different genres, like Action, Comedy, Horror, you name it.

I picked a genre I was in the mood for – let’s say “Classic Movies”. I copied the code for that. I remember it must have been four numbers, and i jotted it down on a piece of paper just in case.

Then came the tricky part. I messed around for while trying to put them at the end of url, and after fiddling for about ten minutes, I realized how simple it actually was!

I typed the code in after the indicated positions, and boom! The page refreshed, and I saw a whole bunch of Classic Movies, some I’d never even seen listed on the regular Netflix pages.

  • I scrolled through the list, found a movie I liked, and clicked on it. It played perfectly!
  • I tried a few other codes for different genres, and they worked too! It was like unlocking a secret stash of movies.

It’s pretty cool, I have to say. I’m not sure how often I’ll actually use these codes, but it’s nice to know they’re there. It’s like having a little secret weapon for finding exactly what you want to watch on Netflix. Now, I just need to remember where I put that piece of paper with all the codes jotted down for my favorite Genres!
