  1. God, the Lord Jesus Christ loves you! Restore your relationship with God by repenting of your sins and putting your faith in Jesus Christ, "… that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

  2. This actually happened to me. Though, the movie blows most of it out of proportion.
Everyone writes off sleep paralysis demons because the most powerful events transpire during sleep paralysis. But, what if it is the demon which is catalyzing your paralysis, and not the other way around?

Because, if you're REALLY experiencing torment from a sleep paralysis demon, a ton of OTHER STUFF will happen OUTSIDE of sleep paralysis.

Here is the list of things I personally experienced that happened outside of sleep paralysis:
1.) The SAME DAY of my most intense experience, where I came face to face with her, (in broad daylight, mind you) it I had blood leaking from, well, where I pee from. I went to see the doctor, no explanation. Never happened again. (Five years ago.)
2.) At nighttime, when I'd lay down to sleep, but BEFORE actually falling asleep, I'd hear the exact same, yet DISTINCT, "popping noise." (Like someone flicking a hollow plastic, hard, with a finger.)
3.) After seeing her, I had nightmares for a YEAR STRAIGHT. Virtually every single night.
4.) My "fortune," or "luck" became so bad it seemed to defy statistical probabilities, though, I cannot say for sure. It felt like a BLACK CLOUD was hovering over me.
5.) When I'd wake from a brief sleep, for a SPLIT SECOND I'd (sometimes) see a shadow moving around me. My brother ALSO SAW SOMETHING, (to this day, he will not tell me what he saw, only that he saw it a few feet from my shoulder) and this was BEFORE I TOLD HIM WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME.
6.) I never considered myself religious, or overly spiritual. Well, that was only because I didn't know how it felt to be WITHOUT spirituality. After I saw her, my spirituality was like SIPHONED OUT OF ME, and I began to feel FORSAKEN. It's not a good feeling. It, truly, feels like a curse. Or, as if she is harbinger.
7.) I began to CHANGE. I was once almost totally foreign to hatred, and anger. For, I was kind and easy going. Yet, I began to feel a RAGING HATRED over the smallest and DUMBEST THINGS. Like, a bone-deep hatred.

I cannot say for certain whether or not it's a REAL ENTITY, nobody can.
Perhaps the sub/unconscious mind has the ability to interpret a persons time-line (past & future events) and is capable of tormenting it's OWN MIND. Meaning, perhaps your own intuition and memory can sabotage you.
But, having seen her in broad daylight, I CAN say this much: If she is real, she is not what we'd consider "flesh and blood."
She was 2-D and BLACK AND WHITE.

If this sounds familiar, and you are being tormented by her, don't lose hope, you CAN get past it.
For me, I fought back by considering it from a brain chemistry point-of-view.
I cut way-back on the activities that catalyzed negative emotions or thoughts.

I began working-out, intensely, and dieting.
I would remember to be grateful and appreciative of the things I have in my life.
If you are breathing, and you and your loved ones got through the day without tragedy, it's a GOOD DAY.

If you need help, and have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

EDIT: One more thing, I consciously avoided this because it shames me. I feel like this spits in the eye of God/Universe/Ancestors, but it could potentially help someone, so here it is: When I came face to face with it, I thought it was going to kill me. Truly. Yet, I just didn't care. I thought to myself, "Whatever you're going to do, just get on with it," and went back to sleep peacefully. And, I never again suffered from INTENSE PARALYSIS TORMENT.
Speculate from that what you will.

  3. Don't bother. It's one of the worst films I've seen and really bad acting. I have suffered with sleep paralysis for 30 years and it's terrifying, but this just made a mockery of it. Take my advice, watch something else. 🤘😁

  4. Too bad they didn't hire a single sleep technologist or sleep doctor before making this movie. Pretty sure they didn't even research sleep paralysis

  5. I started having sleep paralysis in college. Until now, I know that I'll get sleep paralysis when I try to take a nap between 5pm to 6pm. A few more episodes and I got completely used to it that I just had to wait patiently until I wake up. The technic there is to keep calm. Don't rattle at the sight of demons. close your eyes and wait because youll always wakeup anyway. Guess what, I'm enjoying sleep paralysis this time because I get full control of my lucid dream! Googled it and found out I was performing astral projection. So the next time you get sleep paralysis, keep calm, practice controlling your dream, imagine yourself in the calmest place on earth and you'll exactly go there. Go around the house. Fly. You can even have astral sex! This is scientifically possible because your mind is awake but your muscles are not. So make use of that dream, be creative. Although you will always see those nasty demonic entities but try taunting them and they'll swooosh away like bubbles. Trust me astral projection is fun!

  6. This is the movie Slumber from 2017 starring Maggie Q, not the movie Slumber from 2018 starring Emily Bett Rickards, Lulu Wilson, and Meaghan Rath. You listed the cast from the 2018 movie.
