Alright, so I watched this movie, Frost, you know? It’s one of them survival kinda movies, where people get stuck in the cold. Don’t rightly know who made it, but it’s somethin’ Cleopatra Entertainment put out.

The whole thing is about this girl, Abby, and her daddy, Grant. They ain’t been close, see? And now they’re stuck out in the freezin’ cold, tryin’ to survive. That’s the whole shebang, pretty much.

Now, the girl, Abby… the actress, Devanny Pinn, she did a good job, I reckon. She was really puttin’ herself out there, you know? Made me feel kinda bad for her, stuck out there like that. But the rest of it… well, it wasn’t so great.

It was just… slow. Real slow. Like watchin’ paint dry, sometimes. Nothin’ much happened for a long time, just them walkin’ and freezin’. And the daddy, he wasn’t much to look at either, always grumbling and such. They spent a lot of time just…talkin’ and I couldn’t always make out what they were on about.

I gotta say, the cover of the movie, it looked kinda neat. That’s why I picked it, you know? But the movie itself… wasn’t as excitin’ as the cover made it seem. They coulda done more, I think. More action, more… somethin’.

  • The cold looked real cold, I’ll give ‘em that. Made me wanna put on another sweater just watchin’ it.
  • But the story… it just dragged on and on. Felt like it took forever to get anywhere.
  • And the endin’… well, I won’t spoil it for ya, but it wasn’t nothin’ to write home about.

The fella who made the movie, Brandon Slagle, I think his name was… He tried, I guess. But it just didn’t stick with me, you know? I watched it, and then… poof! Gone from my mind, like smoke in the wind. I probably won’t remember much of it come tomorrow.

Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible movie, but it ain’t a great one either. It’s one of them movies you watch when there ain’t nothin’ else on, I reckon. If you like them slow, kinda sad movies, maybe you’ll like it. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ fast and excitin’, this ain’t it.

It’s just… there. A movie that exists. Nothin’ more, nothin’ less. Kinda like a cold day, you know? It’s there, it’s cold, and then it’s gone. That’s Frost for ya.

I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, just a regular person watchin’ a movie. And to me, this movie was just… alright. Not the worst thing I ever seen, but definitely not the best, neither. Just… a movie. About the cold. And a girl and her daddy.

Would I recommend it? Eh, maybe. If you got nothin’ better to do, and you like movies about folks bein’ cold and miserable, then sure, give it a watch. But don’t expect too much, you hear? Just go in with low expectations, and maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Or maybe you’ll just be bored. It could go either way, really.

Anyway, that’s my two cents on Frost. Take it or leave it, I don’t much care. I’m just tellin’ it like I see it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go make myself a cup of hot tea. All that talk about the cold has got me chilled to the bone.
