So, I got this crossword the other day, and let me tell you, it was a doozy. There was this one clue that had me completely stumped: “Isla Fisher Netflix series.” I mean, I know Isla Fisher, she’s great, but what has she done on Netflix?

I started racking my brain, thinking about all the stuff I’d watched recently. Nothing. Then I started thinking about all the things my friends and family had watched. Still nothing. This was really bugging me! I’m not usually one to give up on a crossword, you know?

So I did what any self-respecting person of the digital age would do. I turned to Google. But, oh boy, that opened up a whole new can of worms.

  • First, I found some sites talking about “crossword clue” answers. Okay, fine, but they were all over the place. Ten letters, they said. Ten? That didn’t narrow it down much!
  • Then there were these articles about Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen getting divorced. Okay, sad, but totally not relevant to my crossword puzzle problem. I mean, what does their divorce have to do with this puzzle? They are going through a difficult time, and this puzzle also made me feel a little upset.
  • I even stumbled upon some random facts about a “Piasa Bird” and some place called “Lake Piasa Brighton.” I mean, what is a Piasa Bird? And why am I reading about real estate listings? This was getting ridiculous. My goodness, I got a headache.

I spent, like, a good hour just scrolling through all this nonsense. It was a mess. Websites listing possible answers, articles about celebrity gossip, and I kid you not, information about some Native American legend involving a mythical bird. Seriously, a bird! It was like the internet was playing a prank on me.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I started piecing things together. There were a few mentions of a show, and then, BAM! I found it.

The answer is WOLF LIKE ME

She was in a show called “WOLF LIKE ME,” which, as it turns out, is actually on Peacock, not Netflix. But some websites list it as Netflix. Mystery solved. I plugged it into the crossword, and it fit. Ten letters, just like they said.

Honestly, it was a wild ride. I learned way more about Isla Fisher, and some random bird, than I ever expected to. But hey, at least I finished the crossword! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need a break from the internet for a while.
