Alright, let’s talk about them scary movies, the ones on islands, you know? Islands, they’re kinda creepy, all that water around, nowhere to run. Makes for a good scare, I tell ya.

First off, there’s this one, Harper’s Island. It ain’t just a movie, it’s one of them long TV shows. Lots of folks gettin’ bumped off, one by one. Everyone’s a suspect, which is mighty scary. Can’t trust nobody on that island, seems like. They keep ya guessin’ till the very end, who’s doin’ all the killin’. It’s all spooky and mysterious. Keeps ya on the edge of yer seat, that’s for sure.

Then you got Six Days Seven Nights. Okay, this one ain’t all scary, but it’s got them island troubles. Two folks crash land on this deserted island, gotta figure out how to survive. It ain’t got monsters or ghosts, but bein’ stuck like that, with no help, that’s scary enough for some folks. It makes ya think, what would you do if that happened?

  • Then there’s the shark one, Jaws.
  • Lordy, that one scared the bejesus outta me!
  • Big ol’ shark, bitin’ folks right off the beach.
  • That ain’t on no deserted island, but it’s near Long Island, so it still counts, right? Water’s all around, makes ya feel trapped. That shark, he’s like a monster, sneakin’ up on ya. Scary stuff, I tell ya. Makes ya think twice ’bout goin’ in the water.

Now, The Wicker Man. That one’s weird. It’s about this fella goin’ to an island, lookin’ for a missing girl. And the folks on that island, they’re strange, real strange. They got their own ways, their own beliefs. It ain’t got jump scares or nothin’, but it’s creepy, the way they act. It gets under yer skin, makes ya feel uneasy.

Another one is about folks gettin’ stuck, trapped on an island. That’s Trapped together on the island , like I said, that’s scary stuff. Everybody startin’ to look at each other sideways, thinkin’ maybe they did somethin’ bad. Secrets comin’ out, makin’ things worse. That kinda stuff, it can really mess with your head.

And then there’s Cast Away. Now, this ain’t no horror movie, not really. But it’s about a fella all alone on an island, after his plane crashes. He is all by his lonesome. And that’s scary, ain’t it? Bein’ all by yerself, nobody to talk to, just you and the ocean. It makes ya think about what’s really important in life.

Zombies on an island? Yep, they got a movie about that too. Can’t remember the name, but it’s about this sickness, turns folks into zombies. And these survivors, they go to an island, thinkin’ they’ll be safe. But them zombies, they find a way. Zombies are always scary, but on an island, it’s even worse. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

And last but not least, there’s Kong: Skull Island. That one’s got a giant ape, Kong, on this island. Big ol’ monster, smashin’ stuff, roarin’ loud. And other creepy crawlies on that island too. It’s more of an adventure movie, but with a big monster like that, it’s bound to have some scary parts.

So there ya have it, a bunch of them scary movies on islands. Islands, they just seem to attract trouble, don’t they? But that’s what makes ’em good for a scare. Just remember, when you’re watchin’ these movies, keep the lights on, and maybe lock the doors. You never know what’s lurkin’ out there, or in the water.
