My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I do love a good show on that Netflix thing. But there are so many, it makes my head spin! This old gal needs a “what show should I watch on Netflix quiz” to help me figure it out, you know? Too many choices just fry my brain.
I told my granddaughter, I said, “Honey, there’s more shows on this thing than there are chickens in Farmer McGregor’s coop!” And she just laughed. Kids these days. They’re glued to those little phones. They know everything about this Netflix thing.
So, I need a quiz, yeah. One of those things that asks you questions. Like, do you want to laugh until your dentures fall out? Or cry more than you did when old Bessie the cow passed? Or maybe you want something that makes you think, you know, something deep. But not too deep. This old brain can’t handle too much thinking these days.
I like those shows about cooking. You know, the ones where they make those fancy cakes that look like a whole dang farm? I don’t know how they do it! I can barely make a decent cornbread without burning the edges. Those are good to watch. Relaxing, you see. Best shows on Netflix are those cooking ones.
Sometimes, I like those shows about the old days. You know, like when folks rode horses instead of those noisy cars. And everyone wore those fancy dresses. Those are nice. Reminds me of when I was a young’un, courting my husband, bless his soul. He’s gone now, but I still remember those days like it was yesterday.
Oh, and I do like a good mystery! Keeps this old mind sharp. Trying to figure out who done it before they tell you. It’s like a game. And I do love a good game. Used to play bingo every Wednesday night down at the church hall. Haven’t been in a while though. My knees ain’t what they used to be. The best Netflix shows are those mystery ones.
But with so many shows on Netflix, how’s a gal supposed to choose? That’s why I need that quiz. “What show should I watch on Netflix quiz”, that’s what I need. Something simple. Not too many questions. Just enough to point me in the right direction. Like a weathervane in a windstorm. Except instead of wind, it’s shows. And instead of a rooster, it’s… well, it’s me, I guess.
I heard some folks say that these quizzes are pretty good, they say I should “Watch anywhere, anytime“. It seems like a good way to find the shows that fit your mood. I want to find a quiz that can help me sort through all the Top 10 TV Shows and Top 10 Movies, since these are the most popular ones.
- Do you like those funny shows?
- Do you like those sad shows?
- Do you like those shows that make you think?
See, questions like that. Easy peasy. And then, at the end, it tells you, “You should watch this show!” And then, hopefully, it’s a good one. And I can just sit back with my cup of tea and enjoy.
I heard there will be a show called “Virgin River Season 6“, people keep talking about it. Maybe the quiz will tell me if I should watch it. They also talk about “NFL Christmas Gameday“, but I don’t really like sports.
My granddaughter, she told me about a show, “Black Doves” I think it was called. She said I might like it. But she also said I might like a show called “Carry-On“. I don’t know. It all sounds so complicated. I heard that the Netflix home screen will update every day. So many new shows!
Back in my day, we only had three channels on the TV. And you had to get up and turn the dial to change it! And the picture was all fuzzy. But we were happy. We didn’t know any better. Now, there’s so many choices, it’s just overwhelming.
So, yeah, a quiz. That’s the ticket. A “what show should I watch on Netflix quiz.” Help an old lady out. My eyes are tired, my brain is fried, and I just want to watch a good show. Is that too much to ask?
This Netflix thing, it’s a godsend, really. Keeps me entertained. Especially on those long winter nights when it’s too cold to go outside. Just curl up on the couch with a blanket and the remote, and you’re good to go. As long as you can figure out what to watch, that is!
Maybe they should make a quiz that’s just for old folks. With big buttons and simple questions. And pictures! Old folks like pictures. “What show should I watch on Netflix quiz for old folks.” That’s what they should call it. I bet it would be a hit. We are not good at using internet, unlike young people. They always sign in with their Netflix account to watch on their computer, but that’s too hard for me. I just watch on my TV.
Anyway, I’m gonna go make myself a cup of tea. And maybe try to find one of those quizzes online. If I can figure out how to use this darn computer, that is. Wish me luck!
