Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now, and today I finally did it. I sat down and made a list of what I think are the best Mel Gibson movies. It wasn’t easy, trust me. This guy’s been in a ton of films, and he’s got some real gems in his filmography.
First off, I had to go through all the movies he’s been in. I started with his early stuff, you know, the “Mad Max” series. Man, those were some intense movies. Then I moved on to his more mainstream stuff like “Lethal Weapon”. That movie is just a classic, right? It’s got everything you want in a buddy cop movie. After watching all those movies, I started making a list. I ranked them from what I thought was the worst to the best. I know, I know, it’s all subjective, but it’s my list, so my rules. It was tough, though. There were some movies that I really liked but they just didn’t make the cut.

- Lethal Weapon – An absolute classic. This is the movie that really put Mel on the map, at least for me. His performance was just great.
- Gallipoli – This one is a bit of a deep cut, but it’s one of my favorites. It’s a war movie, but it’s not your typical action-packed war movie. It’s more about the characters and their relationships. Mel’s performance is really powerful.
- The Road Warrior – This is the second “Mad Max” movie, and in my opinion, it’s the best one. It’s just a raw, gritty action movie with some of the best car chases ever filmed.
In the end, I came up with a list that I’m pretty happy with. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure some of you will disagree with my choices, but that’s okay. It’s all part of the fun. It’s interesting to see how different people react to different movies.
