Ay, this year, that 2023, time flies, you know? Blink your eyes, it’s already September! You ask me what’s new? Well, I heard there’s a whole bunch of new movies coming out in September 2023. Gotta find something to watch, right? Keep the eyes busy. These old bones ain’t what they used to be, but my eyes still work fine. My favorite thing is to watch movies, yeah.
September, huh? That’s when the leaves start to turn, ain’t it? I remember back in my day, September, we’d be busy. But these days, plenty of time to watch them new movies. I heard there are some good ones this September, too. Got that… uh… what’s it called… Equalizer 3, they say it’s coming out on September 1st. Sounds like a bang-bang shoot-em-up. I like those. Lots of action. Keeps you awake, you know? That’s important when you get old. Gotta stay awake!
They got all kinds of movies now. Not like the old days. We just had a few. Now, you got your big screens, your small screens… even them little phones got movies on ’em! It’s a crazy world. But I tell you what, a good movie is a good movie. No matter where you watch it. And this September 2023, there are more to watch. 1999? Oh, boy, that was a year! Best year for movies. I tell ya. 1994 was good too. 1984? Those were the days, I tell ya.
Now, where was I? Oh yeah, new movies in September 2023. So, we got that Equalizer 3. That’s the one I heard about most. But there’s gotta be others, right? You can’t just have one new movie in a whole month! That’d be silly. There are always lots of new movies in a month. My son, he is good at that, you know. He can find all the information online.

- Maybe a scary one? Halloween’s coming up, you know.
- Gotta be something for everyone. That’s what I always say.
My granddaughter, she likes them… what do you call them? The ones with the singing and dancing. Musicals! Yeah, that’s it. Maybe there’s a new musical coming out in September. Who knows? I ain’t seen everything, that’s for sure. But, there are so many new movies, I am sure there is a musical one. I like to watch it with my granddaughter. That’s nice, you know.
And then you got them… them thinky movies. The ones that make you scratch your head and wonder what’s going on. I don’t mind those, sometimes. Keeps the brain working. Gotta keep the brain working, just like the eyes. Otherwise, you get old and… well, you know. Just old. So, I think September 2023 movies, there’s gotta be some of those, too.
You know, back in the day, we didn’t have all these choices. You went to the picture show, and you watched what they had. Didn’t matter what it was. Just happy to be there. Popcorn, maybe a soda pop. Good times. Simple times. Now, too many choices. Makes your head spin! These days, too much information. How can I know all of that? It’s impossible!
But, I guess it’s good to have choices. Something for everyone, like I said. So this September, when you’re looking for something to do, check out them new movies coming out. Might find something you like. Might find something I like! You never know. And that’s good. New movies are good.
I remember one time, they had a movie about… oh, what was it… a big boat. And it sank! Everyone was crying. I cried, too. Good movie, though. Sad, but good. Maybe they’ll make another one like that. A real tearjerker. We’ll see. We can find ratings and reviews. I don’t know how to do that. But my son, yeah, he is good at that. He can find all the information about new movies.
