Okay, so I wanted to make some horror movie-themed stuff, I had this crazy idea to decorate my room with some scary movie vibes. First, I thought about buying ready-made things, but then I was like, “Nah, I wanna do something unique.” So, I decided to get some fabric and make things myself.
I started searching for “horror movie fabric by the yard” online, I gotta say it is not that easy to find what I wanted. I looked at a bunch of different websites and stores, trying to find the perfect fabric with classic horror movie characters or scenes.
I went to this craft store called JOANN, they have a lot of fabric, and I hoped to find something good there. I browsed through their horror movie fabric selection. They had some cool stuff, like this one with a bunch of horror movie posters stacked together, it’s called “Horror Poster Stack Cotton Fabric”.
After searching in JOANN, I decided to compare the fabrics I found online. I needed to check out the quality, the designs, and of course, the price. Some websites had these pre-cut half-yard options, which was kind of convenient. I found one called “Pre Cut Half Yard Horror 100% Cotton Fabric” – it had a bunch of different horror characters on it. And there was another one with Halloween ghosts and “Boo!” written all over it, the “DAVID TEXTILES Halloween Ghosts Boo! Cotton Fabric”.
I spent hours comparing, I looked at the size of the fabric, the type of material – mostly cotton, which is good. I checked if the designs were cool and if they had the right scary vibe I was going for. And of course, I had to make sure the price was reasonable.
Finally, I made my decision. I picked out a few different fabrics that I liked, ordered them, and waited. It felt like forever, but when they finally arrived, I was super excited! Now, it was time to get to work and start making my horror movie-themed decorations. It is not gonna be easy, but I am ready to put some elbow grease into it and I can’t wait to share the results with you all!
