So from being the "Pope's Exorcist", he is now possessed? All I can hear is…………
"Are you not entertained?! Are you not entertained?!"

Very disappointing for a russ crowe movie…was not worth the watch.
Well…after I finished this movie…I found that I wasted 2 hours in my life…
I love the actor but movie was really not good. Also the girl's acting annoyed me so much
I want my movie ticket and popcorn money back
Just saw this, and I have to say I was impressed. There's a certain isolation about the film that makes one immediately feel uncomfortable, unlike Crowe's previous exorcist film. This one is not about the numbers or ticking the check boxes, and there's no….absolutely no time for humor or cheap gimmicky one-liners. Nor is there a typical satisfying ending, nor a cliff-hanger. It ends quite realistically with pain and sorrow as is the way so many times in people's lives leaving us to 'accept' the situation and get on with it, to move on and make the best of things, and perhaps to heal. This film would almost appear to be an act of contrition for Crowe's previous film that may have appealed to the more simple minded or easily pleased who unbeknownst to themselves wished to be spoon-fed the aforementioned 'by the numbers' script. This film instead requires the viewer to put no faith, if you'll excuse the expression, in the hero, the main character, to give up on him almost, if not entirely and say to the viewer 'all those who enter abandon hope'. This film could have been made in the 1970's. I also thought the film within a film premise was a good (if overused trope in other films) idea as in this situation it reminds us that the characters are real people, just like us, and that (hopefully not) this situation could happen to any of us. Well done to all.
