Hey everyone, today I want to share my little project about finding a “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” movie poster. You know, just a simple thing, but it turned into a bit of an adventure.
So, I started by just casually browsing online, you know, the usual places. I typed in “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie poster” into the search bar, expecting to find a bunch of options right away. I found some on Amazon, some on other random websites, but nothing really caught my eye. They all seemed pretty standard, and I wanted something a bit more unique, you know?
I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through pages and pages of posters. Some were okay, but they were either too small (like, 11 x 17 inches, what am I going to do with that?), or they were just reprints of the same old design. I was looking for something that felt a bit more special, something that captured the epicness of the movie.
Digging Deeper
I decided to refine my search. I started looking specifically for original one-sheet posters from 2014, the year the movie came out. I figured those might be a bit more unique and potentially have some collector’s value. I stumbled upon a few websites that specialized in movie posters, and that’s where things got interesting.
I found a couple of posters that looked promising, but they were pretty expensive. I mean, I love the movie, but I wasn’t ready to drop a fortune on a poster. I kept digging, and I eventually found a site called * that had a decent selection. They had this one poster that caught my attention, it was not super flashy, but the quality looked good, and the price was okay, I mean, it was not super cheap, but it was reasonable.
The Purchase
After hesitating for a bit, I decided to go for it. I added the poster to my cart, filled in my shipping details, and clicked that “buy” button. It felt good to finally find something I liked. The website said it would take a few days to process and ship, so now it was just a waiting game. It’s not a big deal, I know it’s just a poster, but I was genuinely excited. I started thinking about where I would hang it in my room, imagining how it would look on the wall.

Honestly, this whole thing turned out to be more of a journey than I expected. It’s funny how something as simple as buying a movie poster can turn into a mini-adventure. Anyway, I’ll let you all know when it arrives! I hope it lives up to my expectations.
