Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here “cult movies posters.” I ain’t no fancy movie expert or nothin’, but I know what I like, and I know what folks like to stick on their walls.
What are these “cult movies” anyway? Beats me! Seems like they’re just them old movies that weren’t so big back in the day, but now everybody and their brother’s talkin’ ’bout ’em. You know, like them space movies with the weird creatures, or them gangster movies with all the shootin’ and hollerin’. Some folks like them scary ones with the monsters, too. I seen a few myself, back when they had that outdoor picture show in town, long time ago.
Now, these posters, they ain’t just pictures, mind you. They’re like… reminders. Reminders of them good times, or them scary times, or whatever kinda times you had watchin’ them movies. You hang one up, and it’s like you’re sayin’, “Hey, I seen this one! And I liked it!” Or maybe you didn’t like it, but you thought it was so bad it was good, you know? Folks are funny that way.
- Handmade stuff: Some folks, they make these posters themselves. Ain’t that somethin’? They draw ’em or paint ’em, or maybe even print ’em on special paper. Them handmade ones, they’re somethin’ special. You know, somebody put their heart and soul into makin’ them.
- Prints and such: Then you got the printed ones. They make a bunch of ’em, all the same. Easier to find, and cheaper too, most times. You can find ’em in all sorts of places, online or in them stores that sell all kinda fancy things for your house.
- Old posters, new posters: Some posters are old, like from when the movie first came out. Them old ones, they can be worth a pretty penny, I hear. Then you got the new ones, made for the folks who just discovered them old movies. Don’t matter much, old or new, long as it looks good to ya.
Where you gonna put ’em? Well, that’s up to you, ain’t it? Some folks put ’em in their livin’ room, so everybody can see ’em. Some folks put ’em in their bedrooms, where it’s just for them to look at. Heck, I even seen folks put ’em in their bathrooms! Guess they like lookin’ at movie stars while they’re… you know… doin’ their business. To each their own, I say.
Them prices, though… Some of these posters, they ain’t cheap! Specially them old ones, or them handmade ones. But you know, if you really like somethin’, sometimes you gotta spend a little extra. Just don’t go breakin’ the bank over a picture, that’s what I say. There’s more important things in life, like puttin’ food on the table and keepin’ a roof over your head.
Movies like Lord of the Rings and Alien… I heard folks talkin’ about these movies too. Seems like they’re pretty popular. You can find posters for them too. Lots of posters, all kind of movies, if you know where to look.
Don’t be shy, go look around! If you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ some of these here cult movies posters, don’t just sit there! Go look around! There’s all sorts of places sellin’ ’em. You can find somethin’ you like, I betcha. Just remember, get what you like, and don’t let nobody tell you different. It’s your wall, ain’t it? You put whatever you want on it.
And one more thing… whether it’s a funny 80s movie poster, or somethin’ from them 90s romcoms, it’s all about havin’ a good time. Life’s too short to worry about what other folks think. You like it, you buy it, you hang it up. Simple as that. And if folks don’t like it, well, that’s their problem, not yours. You just enjoy your movies and your posters, and don’t let nobody rain on your parade.
