Totally agree, mandarin just don't have the depth, and it is a very flaky language. Doesn't have a solid tone, too many similar sounding words, it even does not sound good, a rather primitive language compared to Cantonese, a same song in Cantonese song sounds a lot better than mandarin, I think some

sad, but if you think about it, so many things could have been prevented if only we've been a little bit more concern about the feelings of the people that we care about and set aside our own ego. Like Dizang said he's who he is because of Tin. While it's true that we're responsible for our own actions but it shows how important the people in our lives effect who we are. Tin didn't ask him whether he peddled drug. We saw it at the beginning that Dizang beat that guy that sell drug at his place. But Tin did what his uncle ordered and didn't care about Dizang's feelings. He didn't ask Dizang. The ex-girlfriend need help raising the son but never let Tin know. Didn't even let him know until it was too late. She left him because he's a nobody, a failure, but then he becomes a successful man while she ended up not even being able to take care of her son. If only she trusted him a bit more. The wife left because she's sorry that she couldn't give him a child. So many things to think about. Aside from packed with actions, the story line itself is really something to think about.
