Indigenous Detective Jay Swan arrives in the frontier town of Goldstone on a missing persons inquiry. What seems like a simple investigation opens a web of crime, corruption, trampling of indigenous people’s land rights, and human trafficking. Jay must pull his life together and bury his differences with young local cop Josh, so together they can bring justice to Goldstone.

A well put together film. Reading from some comments here so people are used to Hollywood "Action Films" ie. Bad dialogue, crap acting and just explosions and blood. This film is thoughtful and deals with indigenous people of Australia and how greed of money can destroy a land and a people who believe "they were made for the World not the World made for them."

Slow Aussie action. Similar to Mystery Road.
This is NOT your typical action movie. It's well made; a great slow burn and has an hauntingly beautiful track that accentuate the moments.
Luckily I had seen the (detective, I don't know his name) previous movie and perhaps that does build some context to his character. It's worth watching before this.
Its one of the very few movies that left a lasting impression.
