Okay, so I’ve been binge-watching shows on Netflix lately, and I just finished “Fool Me Once.” Man, that show was a wild ride! I was totally hooked from the first episode. I needed more after finishing it, so I started to look for something similar.

First, I scoured through Netflix’s “Because You Watched” section. You know, the one that suggests shows based on your viewing history. It popped up a few options, but nothing really grabbed me. They just seemed kinda…meh.

So, then I hit up Google. I just typed in “shows like Fool Me Once” and started browsing through the results. There were tons of articles and lists, which was helpful, but also a little overwhelming.

I narrowed it down to a few shows that seemed to be mentioned a lot:

  • Safe: This one came up a bunch. It’s also a Harlan Coben series, so I figured it might have a similar vibe.
  • The Stranger: Another Harlan Coben show, haha, sounds like I’m a big fan, right? It was mentioned a lot alongside “Fool Me Once” so it felt like a safe bet.
  • The Night Agent: This one looked intriguing. Less family drama, more political thriller, but still with that mystery element I was craving.
  • Bloodline: A friend told me to add this one, they are a big fan of it, and the online reviews are great.

I decided to start with “The Stranger” since it seemed the most similar to “Fool Me Once” in terms of plot and style. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! It was just as suspenseful and twisty. I binged the whole thing in like two days.

After that, I moved on to “Safe.” It was good, too, but “The Stranger” was definitely more my style. Finally, I decided to give “The Night Agent” a shot, and wow! It’s completely different but so good! Totally not like “Fool Me Once” but I’m glad I watched it.

Next up will probably be Bloodline. The plot looks like some family drama with crime elements in it, not bad. I will check it out soon.

So yeah, that’s how I spent the last week or so, diving deep into the world of Netflix thrillers. If you loved “Fool Me Once,” you should definitely check out these other shows. You won’t regret it!
