Hey there, y’all! Let’s gab a bit about them phim hay on Netflix, you know, the good stuff you can watch on that there TV thingy. I ain’t no fancy movie expert or nothin’, but I do like watchin’ a good show when I got the time, which ain’t often, mind you, with all the chores and whatnot.
So, what’s good on Netflix? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s like a big ol’ candy store, but instead of sweets, you got movies! Lots and lots of ’em. They got them new ones, the ones they just put on there, and then they got them old ones, the ones your grandma probably watched when she was a young’un.
I reckon it depends on what you’re in the mood for, right? Sometimes I like a good laugh, you know, somethin’ silly to make me chuckle. Them comedies, they call ’em. They got all sorts, from them slapstick ones where folks fall down a lot to them smart-mouthed ones where they talk real fast. I tell ya, some of them jokes go right over my head, but I still laugh along, makes me feel young again, ha!
Other times, I want somethin’ a little more…exciting, you know? Somethin’ to get the heart pumpin’. Them action movies, they’re somethin’ else. Cars crashin’, buildin’s blowin’ up, folks runnin’ around shootin’…it’s a whole lotta noise and commotion, but it sure keeps you on the edge of your seat. Mind you, some of it’s a bit much for my old eyes, but I squint and try to keep up.
And then there’s them thrillers. Ooh, them thrillers! They’re the ones that make you jump and bite your nails. You know, the ones where you don’t know what’s gonna happen next, and there’s always some kinda mystery to solve. They can be a bit scary, but I like a good scare every now and again, keeps me on my toes.
And don’t even get me started on them horror movies! Now, I ain’t a big fan of them scary ones, the ones with all the ghosts and goblins and such. Gives me nightmares, they do. But my grandkids, they love ’em! They sit there and watch them things with their eyes glued to the screen, don’t even flinch. I tell ya, young folks these days, they ain’t afraid of nothin’!
But Netflix ain’t just about American movies, no sirree. They got movies from all over the world! Korea, Mexico, Germany, Brazil…you name it, they probably got it. It’s kinda like takin’ a trip around the world without ever leavin’ your couch. Some of them foreign movies are real good, even if you gotta read them little words at the bottom of the screen. They call ’em subtitles, I think.
Now, how do they pick what movies are “hot” on Netflix? Well, I reckon it’s all about how many folks are watchin’ ’em. If a whole bunch of people are watchin’ the same movie, then Netflix figures it must be good, and they put it up on their front page, so more folks can see it. It’s like a popularity contest, I guess.

So, there ya have it, my two cents on them phim hay on netflix. There’s somethin’ for everyone, I reckon. Just gotta poke around a bit and see what tickles your fancy. And if you don’t like somethin’, well, just switch to somethin’ else! That’s the beauty of it, ain’t it? So much to choose from, you could watch movies all day and all night and still not see everything. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about movies got me hungry!
Best Movies on Netflix you say? It’s all just a matter of taste in my book, but they sure got a whole heapin’ pile of ’em to pick from, that’s for sure. From them newfangled blockbusters to them old classic ones, somethin’ for everybody, I’d say.
