“I know this is all really intense… but I’m not trying to hurt you.” Whoa! What do we have here?! Lionsgate has unveiled the official trailer for a mesmerizing odyssey through space and time and music called Hurry Up Tomorrow, the latest creation from the mind of director Trey Edward Shults (Krisha, It Comes at Night, Waves). This new film is another collaboration with mega musician The Weeknd, who is going by his real name in this – Abel Tesfaye. Tesfaye stars as an unnamed musician, playing a version of himself, who is experiencing insomnia and other issues. He encounters a mysterious stranger, leading to a journey that challenges everything he knows about himself. The trailer is also rather vague and very mysterious. Co-starring Jenna Ortega as Anima, Barry Keoghan as Lee, and Paul L. Davis as Lavi. This looks really cool, nearly apocalyptic & sci-fi at times, though also very psychedelic. Keep an eye out for it in the summer.

Here’s the first trailer (+ poster) for Trey Edward Shults’ film Hurry Up Tomorrow, from YouTube:
