Well, lemme tell ya, them bishops, they watch movies too, just like us. They got this whole thing where they look at ’em and say if they’re good or bad. Not like “bad” like my grandson’s dirty socks bad, but like, you know, for your soul.

They give these movies letters, like A-I, A-II, A-III, L, and O. A-I’s the one you can watch with the whole family, kids and all. A-II is for the older kids and grown-ups. A-III? That’s just for the grown-ups, the young’uns shouldn’t be seein’ that stuff. L means it’s kinda tricky, some folks might not like it, and O, well, O’s just plain bad. Like, rotten tomatoes bad.

  • A-I: Everyone can watch.
  • A-II: Bigger kids and adults.
  • A-III: Grown-ups only.
  • L: Might not be for everyone.
  • O: Skip it, it’s no good.

They got these folks, not bishops, but regular people, who watch the movies and give ’em the letters. It’s a whole big thing, official and all. They got an office and everything. I reckon it’s important to know what you’re watchin’, you know? Don’t wanna be puttin’ bad stuff in your head.

They got papers and letters and all sorts of things about these movies. They talk about ’em and write it all down. You can even get it sent to you, like a subscription, they call it. They send it right to your house. Don’t even need to go nowhere.

I remember when my Bessie wanted to see one of them movies, with the monsters and the shootin’. I told her, “Now Bessie, hold on, let’s see what them bishop fellas say about it.” And sure enough, it had one of them bad letters. Told her she couldn’t see it. She fussed, but it’s for her own good, ain’t it?

It’s good to have someone lookin’ out for us, tellin’ us what’s what. These movies, they can be tricky. They put ideas in your head, make you think things you shouldn’t. So, it’s good to have these bishops, or the folks who work for ’em, tellin’ us which ones are alright.

I ain’t sayin’ I always agree with ’em. Sometimes I think they’re a bit too picky. But, mostly, they’re right. They just want us to be good people, to think good thoughts. And that ain’t a bad thing, now is it?

So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch, and you don’t want no bad stuff, go check out what them bishops say. They’ll steer you right. They know what’s good for your soul, and that’s more important than anythin’ else.

Now, don’t you go thinkin’ I’m some kinda holy roller or somethin’. I just reckon it’s good to be careful. There’s a lot of bad stuff out there, and we gotta protect ourselves and our families. Them bishops, they’re just tryin’ to help us do that.

So, next time you’re lookin’ for a movie, remember them letters. A-I, A-II, A-III, L, and O. They’ll tell you what you need to know. And who knows, maybe you’ll find somethin’ good, somethin’ that’ll lift your spirits and make you feel good inside.
