Explanation of the movie: jakob mother got sick(Malvina) and told her son to be silent and say when the right time comes and passed away so he became silent. later one nurse (Verena) come to visit jakob and try to be friendly and make him talk but remain unsuccessful on the other hand she became close to his father that she wanted to become part of the family but his father felt guilty as they became physical and wanted to fire her as she was unsuccessful for jakob silence but the mother(Malvina) spirit gave her illness and she became weak like malvina and wanted to leave the house as she knew about all things that every night she used to talk to one old ladi named lilia who was malvina maid died long back in malvina funeral and faint when she wokes up dreaming about mailvina she seems happy and asked about jakob when she meet jakob he says he missed his mother then verena told i am here right here….and malvina spirit comes in verena body as everyone became friendly she wore dress like her, her ring, she played piano flaulessly who doesnt know in her life from one hand with her son
