Alright, alright, let me tell ya ’bout this here movie, “Black Bags.” I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, just a plain ol’ person tellin’ it like it is. This movie, it’s about these two gals, see? They’re on a bus, and wouldn’t ya know it, they got the same black suitcases. Same exact bags! Like, how often does that happen, right?
So, one of them gals, she figures out she got the wrong bag. And that’s when things get all messed up. It’s like a game of cat and mouse, they say. You know, one chasin’ the other, but it ain’t no cute little game, no sir. It’s dangerous, real dangerous. They got secrets in them bags, I tell ya. Stuff they don’t want nobody else to see.
I ain’t gonna lie, it kept me guessin’. You know, like, what’s in the bag? Who’s the bad gal? ‘Cause one of ’em is definitely bad news. Maybe both, who knows? They got these actresses, Laura somethin’-somethin’, she’s one of ’em. She does a pretty good job, I reckon. Makes you believe she’s scared, or angry, or whatever she’s supposed to be.
- The story, it’s kinda twisty. Just when you think you got it figured out, somethin’ else happens.
- Kept me on the edge of my seat, that’s for sure.
- Though, I gotta say, some parts were a bit confusing. Maybe I’m just gettin’ old, but I had to rewind a couple of times to catch what was goin’ on.
Now, I watched it on that Amazon Prime thingy. My grandkids set it up for me, so I can watch my stories. They say you can watch it on other places too, like Roku and Tubi and Apple TV. Whatever those are. It’s easy enough to find, I guess. Just type in “Black Bags” and there it is.
It ain’t no sunshine and rainbows movie, that’s for sure. It’s dark, you know? People doin’ bad things, gettin’ hurt. But if you like that kinda stuff, then you’ll probably like this movie. It’s got suspense, it’s got mystery, it’s got a bit of action too.
I wouldn’t let the little ones watch it, though. Too much violence and whatnot. But for grown-ups, it’s a decent flick. Keeps you entertained, makes you think a little. And that’s more than I can say for some of them other movies they got out there these days. All them explosions and superheroes, I just don’t get it.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch on a rainy night, and you ain’t afraid of a little darkness, give “Black Bags” a try. Just don’t blame me if you can’t sleep afterwards! It’s one of those movies that sticks with ya, you know? Makes you wonder what you’d do in that situation. Would you run? Would you fight? Or would you just give up?
And them black bags, they’re like a symbol, I reckon. Of secrets, of lies, of all the bad stuff people try to hide. We all got our own black bags, in a way. Things we don’t want nobody else to know about. Maybe that’s why this movie got me thinkin’ so much. It ain’t just about the story on the screen, it’s about somethin’ deeper, somethin’ real.
Anyways, that’s my two cents. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, just a person tellin’ you what I thought. Go watch it yourself and see if you agree. Or don’t. It ain’t gonna change my life none.
