Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get into some spooky stuff lately, and since I’ve got access to Kanopy through my library, I thought, “Why not check out what horror flicks they have?” So, that’s exactly what I did.
First, I logged into Kanopy using my library card details. It’s pretty cool that you can access so much stuff with just that, you know? Anyway, once I was in, I headed straight for the horror section. They’ve got it all nicely organized, so it wasn’t hard to find.
Browsing the Selection
I started browsing, and man, there were tons of movies. Some classic ones I’d heard of, like “Nosferatu,” and some newer ones that looked interesting. They even had this “Fright Fest” collection for Halloween, which was a nice touch. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through, reading the descriptions, and adding stuff to my watchlist.
- I checked out the “Fright Fest” collection.
- I looked up some of the classics like “Nosferatu”.
- I read through the descriptions of some newer releases that caught my eye.
- I added several movies to my watchlist.
Making My Picks
After a while, I narrowed down my choices. I decided to go with a mix of old and new, just to get a good variety. I picked a few that seemed really creepy, based on the descriptions and ratings. It wasn’t easy to choose, but I think I ended up with a solid list.
Watching the Movies
Then came the fun part – actually watching the movies! I made some popcorn, dimmed the lights, and settled in for a good scare. Some of the movies were really great, others were just okay, but overall, it was a fun experience. I even discovered a few new favorites that I’ll probably watch again.
Wrapping Up
So, yeah, that’s how I dove into the horror movies on Kanopy. It was a pretty straightforward process, and I’m glad I did it. If you’re looking for some good scares and you have a library card, I definitely recommend checking it out. You might be surprised at what you find!
I jotted down a few notes about the movies I watched, just so I can remember which ones I liked the most. Maybe I’ll share that list sometime later.
Anyway, that’s my little horror movie adventure on Kanopy. Hope you found it interesting!
