Okay, so I wanted to make movie night with my friends a bit more fun. We always end up spending ages trying to decide what horror flick to watch, right? So, I thought, why not make a picker wheel to decide for us?
First, I scribbled down a list of all the horror movies we’ve been meaning to see. We’re talking classics, some newer stuff, even a few cheesy ones for a laugh. I made sure to include a good mix.
Then, I started looking around for some simple tools. I wanted something free and easy to use, didn’t want to download any new stuff on my old computer.
I ended up messing around with a couple of tools. One was super basic, you just typed in your options and it gave you a wheel. It was okay, but I wanted something a bit cooler.
Finally, I found a tool I was happy with. It lets you customize the colors and even add images! This was more like it. So I got to work, carefully typing in all the movie titles into the tool. I even found little images for each movie to make the wheel look extra spooky. It took a bit of time, but it was actually kind of fun.
- Type movie titles
- Customize colors
- Add images (optional)
I spent a good evening tweaking things, getting the colors just right and making sure the wheel looked nice and balanced. There was no way to save it, so I made sure to screenshot it to use later.
The Big Reveal
When movie night finally rolled around, I showed everyone the wheel. They thought it was awesome! We gave it a spin, and it landed on “The Babadook”. None of us had seen it before, but it turned out to be a great pick! We had a blast. Now, the wheel is our go-to for deciding what to watch. It’s made movie nights way more fun and less of a headache. No more endless scrolling through streaming services!
