So, I saw this crossword puzzle clue the other day, “Early Netflix offering,” and it got me thinking about the good old days of Netflix. It’s funny how much things have changed, right?
I started digging around to find the answer. It wasn’t super obvious at first. I checked out a bunch of those crossword solver websites. You know the ones, like the Daily Celebrity, NY Times, Daily Mirror, and a few others. They all had something about this clue.

After going through maybe 40 or so different possibilities, I narrowed it down. I found the most common ones, and started looking for patterns to figure out what was up.

And you know what? The answer was pretty simple: DVD.
It makes sense, right? Back in the day, Netflix was all about mailing out DVDs. I remember waiting for those red envelopes to show up in my mailbox. I spent a lot of time waiting for them, and sometimes I would get a few at once, which was always great. Those were different times, that is for sure!
It’s wild to think how far they’ve come, from DVDs to streaming everything online. Technology, huh? It never stops moving. I wonder what they will be doing in another 10 years. It is hard to imagine!
