It’s been a big couple of days for New York Liberty guard and four-time WNBA All-Star Sabrina Ionescu.
On Sept. 14, the first round of WNBA Playoffs kicked off, where Ionescu and her defending champion team took the win against the Phoenix Mercury. The following day, on Sept. 15, the player announced her multi-year partnership with buzzy travel brand Away, underscoring the brand’s ongoing commitment to championing women’s sports (Away was named the Liberty’s Official Luggage Partner earlier this year).
In her debut campaign imagery, Ionescu poses with some of her current favorite travel gear — We say “current favorite” as Ionescu and Away have announced the debut of a limited-edition collection in 2026, reimagining some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes through the All-Star’s perspective.
