Well, I tell ya, if you watched that movie Peppermint and liked it, then I reckon you’re lookin’ for more of that same kinda gritty, revenge-filled action. Y’know, where the good ol’ gal or guy gets hurt, and then they just go after the bad folks with a vengeance! Now, I ain’t no expert on movies, but I can tell you about some films that might make you sit up in your seat, just like Peppermint did!

This one’s got Bruce Willis, bless his heart, playin’ a feller named Paul Kersey. He’s a trauma surgeon by day and a revenge seeker by night. A real tough guy after some bad folks hurt his family. You know the type – the kind that just can’t rest ’til they get their justice. It’s just like Peppermint but with a man doin’ the revenge, not a woman. But I reckon the feelin’ is the same. So if you liked Jennifer Garner kickin’ some butt, you might find ol’ Bruce doing the same thing in Death Wish.
2. Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)
If you ask me, this one’s a wild ride! It stars Angelina Jolie, and let me tell ya, that woman’s as tough as they come. She plays a smokejumper – now that’s someone who fights fires – but she gets caught up in somethin’ much worse. It’s a real thriller, with plenty of action, suspense, and people out to get each other. Just like Peppermint, it’s all about survival and getting revenge on the people who did wrong.
3. Man on Fire (2004)
This one’s another good’un! Denzel Washington plays a bodyguard, and let me tell ya, he is one tough cookie! He gets hired to protect a little girl in Mexico, but when things go south, he ain’t about to just sit there. No sir! He goes on a rampage to get her back, and he’ll tear apart anyone who stands in his way. It’s one of them revenge stories that’ll keep you glued to your chair.
4. The Brave One (2007)
This one here’s got Jodie Foster in it. You know, she’s a good actress. She plays a woman who’s gone through a terrible ordeal, and she just can’t let go of her anger. She’s out for revenge, just like in Peppermint. She gets herself all tangled up in trouble while trying to right the wrongs done to her. It’s a real emotional rollercoaster, and you’ll be on the edge of your seat watchin’ it.
5. Gone (2012)
This one’s for ya if you like a good mystery mixed with some action. It stars Amanda Seyfried, and she’s searchin’ for her sister who’s gone missin’. Turns out, there’s a whole lotta secrets and lies going on, and she takes matters into her own hands to find out the truth. If you liked how Jennifer Garner fought for her family in Peppermint, you might like this one, ’cause this gal’s fightin’ for her family too.
6. Kill Bill (2003)
Now, this one is a real classic! Directed by Quentin Tarantino, it’s got all the drama, fightin’, and blood you can handle. Uma Thurman plays a woman who’s been wronged in the worst way and is out to get revenge on them who did her wrong. It’s a whole lotta action and a whole lotta style, and I reckon if you liked Peppermint, you’ll be right at home with Kill Bill.
7. The Punisher (2004)
If you want a movie where a man’s out for revenge after his family gets hurt, then The Punisher is the one for ya. Thomas Jane plays Frank Castle, and after his family’s tragically killed, he goes after the people responsible. It’s a whole lotta action and violence, and if you liked the revenge theme in Peppermint, this’ll keep you entertained.
8. The Equalizer (2014)
Let me tell you, Denzel Washington is back in this one, and he’s just as tough as nails. He plays a former black-ops guy who comes outta retirement to help a young woman who’s bein’ abused by some dirty folks. He’s like a vigilante, takin’ down bad guys one by one. If you loved how Jennifer Garner took matters into her own hands, you’ll be just as excited to watch Denzel do the same in The Equalizer.
9. Lucy (2014)
This here’s a wild one! Scarlett Johansson plays a woman who gets caught up in a dangerous drug deal, and let me tell ya, she ain’t the same woman after that! She gets herself some mighty strange powers and decides to take down everyone who’s done her wrong. It’s got a lot of action, a lotta fighting, and you’ll be on the edge of your seat the whole time. Kinda like Peppermint, but with a bit of sci-fi thrown in.
10. Wrath of Man (2021)
Last but not least, there’s Wrath of Man. Jason Statham is back in another tough-guy role, and boy, does he deliver. He’s a man with a mysterious past who’s out for revenge, and let me tell ya, he doesn’t mess around. It’s full of action and suspense, just like Peppermint, so if you liked one, you’ll probably like the other too.
So, there you have it. Ten movies like Peppermint that’ll get your blood pumpin’ and your heart racin’. If you liked the strong, tough characters takin’ matters into their own hands, these here flicks should do the trick. Get yourself some popcorn, settle in, and enjoy the ride!
