Well, let me tell ya, Oxford ain’t just about them colleges and fancy bookstores. There’s a place for watchin’ movies too, and it’s called Malco Oxford Commons Cinema Grill. Now, if you’re in Oxford and feel like settlin’ in for a nice flick, that’s where you wanna go. I reckon it’s one of them places where you can watch a movie and eat yourself some popcorn, all comfy like in them big seats.
Malco’s got a spot right there at 206 Commonwealth Boulevard, Oxford, MS. Now, don’t get it twisted; this place ain’t just your regular ol’ movie theater. They got somethin’ fancy, they call it MXT. Don’t ask me what the X stands for, but I know it means it’s got a big ol’ screen, 4K laser lights, and them fancy seats that lay back. Makes you feel like you’re sittin’ in a cloud! No need to bring your own cushion, that’s for sure.
Now, if you’re wonderin’ what’s playin’, don’t worry ‘bout that either. Malco’s always got a good selection of films showin’. When I checked, they had 9 different movies playin’ at the Oxford Studio Cinema, and 8 at the Commons Cinema Grill. So, you got your pick of the lot. Whether you’re into action movies, rom-coms, or them scary ones that make you jump outta your seat, they got something for everyone.
Oh, and you ain’t gotta worry about rushin’ over to buy your ticket. You can buy them right from your phone, like them fancy folks do. You can grab a ticket on Atom Tickets, Fandango, or whatever you like. And if you’re a rewards kinda person, Malco’s got a thing where you can earn double rewards for your ticket if you get it through Fandango. Makes it a little sweeter, don’t it?
But I ain’t gonna lie, sometimes it’s best to just show up and get your ticket in person. Ain’t no shame in that, folks. They’ll sell you a ticket at the door, and if you’re feelin’ lucky, you might even get a good seat! And if you need any help, the folks there at the counter are real nice.
