“They’re going after our family… so I need you to extract me from the equation.” Netflix has unveiled the main official trailer for the conspiracy thriller series called The Madness, streaming on Netflix later this month. Domingo hypes it up: “You really are not ready. Disinformation, conspiracy, social media, culture…” The Madness is a tricky conspiracy thriller series starring the extraordinarily talented Colman Domingo as media pundit Muncie Daniels, who must fight for his innocence & his life after stumbling upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Aside from Domingo, this also stars Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, Thaddeus J. Mixson; with guest stars Deon Cole, Hamish Allan-Headley, Ennis Esmer, Allison Wright, Bradley Whitford, and Stephen McKinley Henderson(!). We already featured a teaser and behind-the-scenes promo for this, and it’s looking DAMN good right now. This seems like it gets in deep and has tons of unsettling twists and turns. Out to watch in just a few weeks.

Here’s the full official trailer for Stephen Belber’s series The Madness, direct from Netflix’s YouTube:

Muncie Daniels is a political consultant-turned-TV pundit who may have lost his way in life. While on a work sabbatical in the Poconos to write the great American novel, Muncie finds himself the only witness to the murder of a well-known white supremacist, and now he’s being framed for the crime. Muncie is forced to go on the run in a desperate fight to clear his name and unravel a global conspiracy before time runs out. Along the way he’ll reconnect with his family, find unlikely allies, and fight against disinformation in a post-truth age. The Madness is a series created by Stephen Belber, writer of Match, O.G., What We Do Next, plus the “Tommy” series. With writing by Dana Kitchens and Liz Ellis. And with episodes directed by Jessica Lowrey, Quyen Tran, and Clement Virgo. Executive produced by Stephen Belber, VJ Boyd, Clement Virgo, plus Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kaitlin Dahill for Chernin Entertainment.
